We never did learn about the brass pole......they are expensive ya know !

The brass plated poles are less expensive and serve the same purpose. Plus they have a clear lacquer finish to prevent tarnish and
pitting. Don't want your brass pole to pit, it could cause injury.

Thanks ya'll. My tailbone is taking forever to heal because I can't seem to get a damn day off work
anymore. Everytime I think I might have a day to relax, I get called in. Takes more than a broken ass to keep me down. I'm barely keeping the house clean
and the lawn mowed. My animals think I disowned them and my friends do too. My hours are due to get cut here shortly, as tourist season is over, but if that
happens I'll have to find a second job. I guess no rest for the wicked.
As for the brass pole, well, we were supposed to have one, but the owners wife wouldn't let it get installed. So, NO, that's not how it happened. I honestly did fall. Things with Jamie are going good. She's doing great in school. A junior this year! I've spent more time with her this summer. She's come to realize that she really does need me on occasion. I normally go down there on Tuesdays. That is my one day off. She spent a couple weekends up here with me, she even went to work with me on Sunday's. I don't get on the computer much. When I do get on, it takes me hours to get caught up and I just don't have that much time these days. On top of all that, I seem to have forgotten to mention that I am raising 5 kids ages 2 to 7!! |

OMG! 5 kids? How the heck do you do it? I have enough trouble with one 9 year old. I'm glad things are working out with Jamie.
I broke my tailbone in '91 and it still gives me trouble. I think it was about 6 months before I could sit without a pillow. That was a sight, my going into the bar with a pillow to sit on. Try to take it easy, you deserve it.
