Quick note. My daughter wrote a suicide note and gave me a handful of razor blades. I guess she is a cutter but was hiding it. She was also hiding drinking and taking way too many pils. I am really lucky she didn't OD. So I put her in the psych hospital twice, then in day treatment. She missed three months of school. She passed all her classes except one. That means now we have to do summer school.
I can't even tell you how many nights I spent awake all night...checking her pulse...

I think that Monday will be my last at my job. The company has been sold to a competitor and has been closed. I've been given ot the last two nights (5 hrs & 4-1/2 hrs), with the promise of 8 hrs each. We'll believe it when we see it. We packed up all our product and sold it to one of our customers. I've been loading truck after truck in ot. Kinda have mixed feelings, mostly sad and now have to search for another job and be the fng again. Not gonna be as easy as the last...

We have a few (6 off) bantams one of them (less than a year old) has developesd a large growth on the side of its head. At first I thought it was eminating from the ear but now it has grown it looks more like very swolen cheek. It has been slowly getting worse for some weeks but this does not appear to have effected it in any way. The others all seem OK.

Temps starting Friday are going to be in the high 50s to high 60s!!!!! The down side is rain is also in the forcast.
Oh well, I'll take it anyway!!! I am soooooooo sick of this sub-freezing temps, ice, frozen chicken waterers, blowing cold winds that take your breath away, and a frozen pond!
